Diamond Sparklers--The Only Sparklers Made in the USA

Diamond Sparkler is the only remaining manufacturer of sparklers in the United States. The company began as Acme Sparklers in Chicago in 1922. B.J. Alan Company purchased the company in 1985 and moved the manufacturing facility to Youngstown, Ohio.

Diamond Sparklers are distributed nationally through Phantom Fireworks' showrooms, on the Phantom Fireworks' website fireworks.com, and in national retail store chains such as K-mart and Rite Aid.

During its peak-manufacturing season, Diamond's production capabilities reach approximately 800,000 sparklers per day. Diamond employs 18 full-time, year-round employees and up to 40 additional temporary workers during heavier production times.

Although sparklers are traditionally associated with the 4th of July, they are used for many festive occasions, such as New Year's Eve, birthdays, graduations, and weddings. Their uses include party favors, cake decorations, a passageway for the bride and groom or guest of honor, or a light-show effect at a wedding, dinner party or reception. Martha Stewart's web site recommends fireworks.com as the place to find Diamond Sparklers when planning a wedding.

Diamond Sparklers come in various sizes and colors. They emit very little smoke or odor and can be used either indoors or outdoors. They are extremely safe with correct lighting and handling. As with any combustible material or sharp object, children must be closely supervised when using Diamond Sparklers.
