Phantom Fireworks - Higher, Brighter, Safer

Fireworks are an American tradition. When used carefully and safely they provide hours of wholesome, family entertainment. At Phantom Fireworks, we work diligently to ensure the safety of both the audience and those lighting the fireworks.

At the consumer level, Phantom Fireworks publishes safety recommendations on its website fireworks.com and distributes a Safety Flyer with detailed safety measures our customers should follow in planning their fireworks display.

Phantom Fireworks is a charter member of the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory (AFSL), an independent, non-profit corporation established in 1989 by members of the fireworks industry to develop voluntary quality and safety standards; work with manufacturers to improve safety and quality; provide a testing program; provide testing certification; and support the efforts of groups promoting the safe use of consumer fireworks.

AFSL operates the China Fireworks Quality Improvement Program. This is a testing program administered by an independent, internationally recognized testing laboratory whereby the fireworks products are tested at the factory level in China before being shipped to the United States. Products that pass the AFSL factory-level testing are then certified and shipped to the United States.

All Phantom Fireworks products meet or exceed the standards established by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for UN0-336 1.4G (Class C) consumer fireworks, as well as the additional AFSL voluntary provisions. Consumer fireworks are officially referred to as UNO-336, 1.4G fireworks. They were formerly referred to as Class C or common fireworks. The legal authority for consumer fireworks and the definitions and standards for their construction and function are found in Title 49 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations.

Once Phantom Fireworks receives the products at one of our U.S. warehouses, we test them a second time to ensure proper safety, performance, and compliance with CPSC standards. Phantom Fireworks takes the extra step in testing products for safety because we care about our customers.

Phantom Fireworks continuously strives to improve the quality and performance levels of Phantom products for the safety and enjoyment of our customers.
